Third-Party Imaging Analysis
X-Ray • CT • MRI • Diagnostic Ultrasound
At Alexander Chiropractic Neurology Center, we utilize third-party diagnostic imaging to gain a complete view of your spinal, joint, and neurological health.
Our approach ensures that every structural decision we make is based on clear, objective data — interpreted through the lens of Chiropractic Neurology.
All imaging studies are performed through trusted diagnostic partners and reviewed by Board – Certified Radiologists. We then integrate those findings into your care plan to provide the most accurate and effective treatment possible.
Imaging We Utilize
X-Ray
The first line of structural visualization. X-rays allow us to evaluate spinal alignment, joint spacing, degenerative changes, and postural abnormalities that may affect nerve flow. We use these images to assess biomechanical relationships and tailor adjustments or therapies accordingly.
CT (Computed Tomography)
CT scans provide high-resolution, cross-sectional views of bones, joints, and complex anatomical structures. They’re particularly useful for evaluating spinal or cranial regions, sinus issues, and structural pathologies that may contribute to neurological symptoms.
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
MRI uses magnetic fields and radiofrequency waves to visualize soft tissues, nerves, and the brain itself — without radiation exposure. It’s the gold standard for identifying disc herniations, nerve compression, inflammation, and brain or spinal cord lesions that may contribute to balance or coordination problems.
Ultrasound
Diagnostic ultrasound provides real-time imaging of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and vascular structures. It’s an ideal, radiation-free tool for identifying soft-tissue injuries, guiding therapeutic treatments, and monitoring progress over time.
Integration with Chiropractic Neurology
Imaging results are not interpreted in isolation — they are combined with your neurological and functional evaluations.
This allows us to correlate structural findings (like disc compression or misalignment) with neurological signs (such as weakness, reflex and/or sensation loss, or balance disruption).
By merging these insights, we create a comprehensive map of how your spine and brain are communicating — guiding every therapeutic or corrective procedure with accuracy.
Collaborative Review
When needed, we coordinate with external radiologists, neurologists, or orthopedic specialists to ensure that complex findings are fully understood and addressed.
This collaborative process ensures every patient receives a clear explanation of their imaging results and a personalized plan of action.
Knowledge Creates Confidence
Seeing what’s happening inside your body brings clarity and reassurance.
Our patients often say that understanding their imaging results helps them feel more confident and engaged in their healing process.
Through clear visualization and expert interpretation, you gain the insight you need to move forward with purpose — and measurable progress.
